Oh yeah I got the tons of stories also growing up about Forbes.

I remember going to a game near the end of the final season at Three Rivers and was just so depressed knowing the park I grew up watching baseball in was a dieing dump. It was actually kinda sad sitting there watching a game.

But I can honestly say the change was needed and much better!

My buddy went to Fenway expecting it to be some religious experience and he said his reaction was "WTF? This is it???" He said it was tiny, ancient and filthy.


If you expect Wrigley to be any different your in for a surprise. It is currently a dump. Perhaps when they are done with the 500 mil upgrade it will be nicer, but not now. I really don't think 500 mill will be enough though

I will say that out of all the parks I have been to the most enjoyable one was Miller Park. Easy to access, fantastic views, beautiful park and great food.

The fact that you diss Wrigley, the one park which is part of a lively neighborhood which has a true baseball character, while praising Miller Park for being "easy to access" tells me everything I need to know about you. You'd rather show up in a car close to gametime than enjoy spending time with friends? I think you are missing the point of sports. Hell, I think you are missing the point of life.
