I've just started trying to visit all the ballparks as my vacation destinations.....I've been to several ballparks, but started doing at least 2 parks a year three years ago.....so far I've been to....and I'm listing them in order of my first appearance there.....I've only been to two stadiums that have since been retired (The Vet and Jack Murphy)

Angels Stadium (before being renovated, haven't been since they renovated)
Veterans Stadium - Phillies, no longer used
Camden Yards - Orioles (first season the park opened)
Wrigley Field - Cubs
Jack Murphy/Qualcomm Stadium - Padres, no longer used
Bank One Ballpark/Chase Field - Diamondbacks
Petco Field - Padres
Dodger Stadium - Dodgers
Safeco Field - Mariners
Pac Bell/AT&T Park - Giants
Oakland Coliseum - A's

This year I'm going to Rangers Ballpark and Fenway.

Current Stadiums:

Wrigley (Dozens of Time)
US Cellular
Miller Park
Comerica
Progressive
Great American Ballpark
Busch Stadium
Target Field
Fenway Park
Nationals Park (I actually was there the first week it was open, which was pretty cool)
Turner Field
Chase Field
Safeco Field
Angel Stadium

Been in (but did not attend games):
PNC Park
Dodger Stadium
Rogers Centre

Old Stadiums:
Metrodome
Busch
Yankee
Shea
Three Rivers Stadium
Pro Player Stadium

I just realized the new fields have knocked me beneath 50%. I plan on hitting up Kauffman sometime soon on a long weekend. I'm also going to the Northeast later this year and if I drive it, Pittsburgh, Philly, and the 2 NYs are all possibilities.

My rooting interest aside, if you have to pick one or the other in NY you have to go Citi. Much nicer stadium, better vibe, more random things to check out and keep you entertained. Yankee is very sterile, it's almost like a museum. If you've been to the original Yankee Stadium, it's like that only not good.

Good thread. In my late teens I was travelling with my Dad on construction sites all over East of the Mississippi and we went to games all over the place.

Old ones: Fulton County, Shea, Three Rivers, Riverfront, Jack Murphy, Yankee, Tiger Stadium, Candlestick

Current: Petco, Dodger, Angels

Have a whole list of new stadiums I'd love to attend and would also love to go to Wrigley. My brother went and said it is baseball heaven.

I must say between the 2 real old school parks, I prefer Wrigley to Fenway by a decent margin. Fenway is a good time, but I can't imagine watching a lot of games there.

My buddy went to Fenway expecting it to be some religious experience and he said his reaction was "WTF? This is it???" He said it was tiny, ancient and filthy.

Oh, one other thing of interest from my trip to San Francisco last year.....I went to two different ballparks on the same day.....I saw the A's play the Angels in a day game and then went to see the Dbacks play the Giants in the night cap....
