How many games will Texas win next season?

I expect Coach Strong to win 10 games and win a Big 12 conference title in his 1st year. If Malzahn can take AU to the BCS title in his 1st year, then Strong should work miracles, too, especially at $5M a year. The defense and offense returns a lot of experience; Mack didn't leave the cupboard bare at all. The talent is there, it just needs to be coached up the right way and that is why Coach Strong was hired.

Agree anything less and you should fire Strong.

IMO Texas will not and should not be in the Preseason Top 25.

This is stupid Texas has talent and new coaches have a tendency to bring new energy I wouldn't be surprised (if they can find a QB or Swoopes pans out) for them to have a very special season. There is no one on the schedule they can't beat and should be in the top 20 next year.

Texas is not losing to TEXAS TECH.

I am more worried about Kansas than the Red Raiders.
The Jayhawks give more of a game than TTU does every year.

That is one team that the Horns annihilate and own every which way. They might give the Sooners fits, but the Horns completely and utterly are in their heads.
Heck the (5-7) team went to Lubbock and smoked them.

There are just certain matchups in sports. That is one that truly favors Texas.

And it doesn't help them that they lose their entire team.
Nobody has more personnel losses in the Big 12 than does TTU.

Next year we return one of the most experienced rosters we have had. Throw out 2010 and you are predicting us to have our worst season in 18 years. I for one am willing to wager just about anything you want that we don't lose 6 games.

Saw today that Red McCombs called Charlie Strong to apologize. He also went to the media and publicly apologized for his crazy azz old man rant.


Well, good for Strong. At least he wont have to worry about the crazy billionaire scheming to bring him down. He's got enough to deal with getting this team up to speed.
