I agree with all you write. The one thing I noticed is our linebackers should have gotten a little deeper drops and played that mid level passing lane tighter and give a few inches on the runs. We got burned a little too deep over the middle. If they would have countered with runs they wouldn't have been so damaging as compared to those 15- to 25 yard pass completions. It was a great game with the exception of the outcome. I saw a pick and I saw a defensive hold. I've watched that play fifty times and one thing is for certain , no matter what the defender never could have got over to make the play. Incredibly exciting game. I have to admit the Irish played better than I anticipated. They answered blow for blow. Time to move on.

Coach Kelly said it was a bad call and thats how the we practice that play. When the CB plays up with 5 yards you are allowed to fight through your route and CJ did that. CJ also got held down. Worst case should of been a hold on the defense.

Actually, that's incorrect. Call was on Procise and they got confirmation that is who they intended to call it on. It wasn't a jersey screw up.

I'm not blaming the defense. We didn't do anything different in the second half (a refreshing change from the Champs Sports Bowl). Give credit where it's due, FSU adjusted well and got the ball out quicker. We still had guys coming free, Winston just threw near perfect passes. One gripe I had was Farley was getting beat consistently. We were one or two plays off from converting downs to extend drives in the second half to offset Winston's play. IMO, Golson outplayed Winston, our O line outplayed their D line and we dominated the game statistically. They just made more timely plays in the second half than we did.

I ordinarily hate blaming calls on games, my mantra is, play well enough to take it out of the zebra's hands. But this I can't abide. If you're going to let things slide so it's decided on the field, and there's a case of no calls both ways to suspect this was the case, then you don't changecourse when it matters the most. I sincerely believe we wouldn't eheaeing how lucky we got if the red didn't throw the flag.

People are also forgetting that with in 5 yards u are allowed to do that. I just hate that a great game like that was ended on a bad call or a question call. This was one of the better games of the year and the Refs of course need to jump in and make a call like that.

That picture shows nothing. Unless they changed the rules last night where DB's are not allowed to put hands on WR within 5 yards. The DB was within the rules. If that play happened 10 yards down the field instead of at the LOS it would have been a penalty

Your first 2 sentence just made my point thank you. U finally see the light. WR tried to get off coverage and got knocked down pretty much.

Finally argument settle. Im happy I can help. The Play was with in 5 yards. CJ was allowed to do what he needed to do to try and get away. Like I said worst case it was holding on the D.

Truth came out today in Kelly press conference. ACC Head officials do not know why it was called and they now changed the call to fuller. ACC told kelly they will get back to him by week ends. They also said sorry for not calling a flag on FSU player for taking his helmet off that would of been a 1st down ND. ACC screwed up BIG time.

I'm honestly not mad at all. The best QB in the country played like that in the 2nd half. We stood toe to toe with the defending champs in their house. We did almost everything well except for stop Jameis in the 2nd half. Our offense was flawless for the most part.

The only thing I'm mad about is the offensive PI that could have been avoided.

If we play like this the rest of the year, we will go 11-1 and be in the playoffs.

We can't overlook any team though. Each team must have 100% of our attention.
