Point being, unless the media pimps him like Rick Neuheisal, those negatives will be looked at by any descent team.

meant to comment on Frost. He's at least a good 4-5 yrs from an HC position unless he shoots low. I mean he hasn't even been an OC for a year yet, I just don't think his name is that high on any BCS teams boards right now.

I think a really decent season this year means Beck is gone.

His Offense has improved from year to year since he took over and if it again improves this season, there are gonna be some places out there licking their chops.

Constant improving is very difficult to ignore.

i just hope eichorst is willing to open up the checkbook and match most offers at some of the shittier schools. i'd love for him to stick around until he gets a really good job in 3 more years or so.

Scott frost will get offered before beck?

I don't want scott frost unless he ready and I don't want us to be his first head coach gig

I think bo should be our last first time head coach gig unless maybe beck

Beck advantage would be the offense would be intact but I guess it would also depends on who he surrounded himself with.

no chance Frost is offered an HC job before Beck. Unless of course it's an extremly low level school.

Bo to NFL - only if he finds greater success. I think it might have been more likely had his defense stayed top level such as 2009, but with that not being good I don't see an NFL team taking him until he gets that back for a sustained period of time.

Scott Frost will not be an OC at Oregon much longer. It is clear he wants to move on with his career and wants control. It is said that Helfrich not only gave Frost the OC position to keep him, but also gave him play calling responsibilities to keep him on staff. Frost is a great coach, what he did with our WRs proves that, that use to be the most underachieving unit at Oregon. The dude made Jeff Maehl a HUGE success and one of Oregons best WR in history, Before WR Maehl was a Safety.

But Scott's actions and demands prove he is ready to start moving up the ladder swiftly. I don't see him at Oregon for more than 2 years, unless somehow things go to shit under Helfrich and he becomes our new HC.

So, if that means Frost takes a low tier program, I could see it, the dude is hungry to be a HC and prove himself.

I like Scott Frost. I believe that he is Nebraska's next head coach. I think it all lines up well. Bo will be here for a few more seasons. Scott will move on to a HC spot somewhere in a year or two. When Bo moves on, Scott gets the call to come home.... unless he completely collapses in his first HC gig.

Oregon hasn't even run one live game play under Frost's OC leadership.

Position coach does not automatically translate to cooordinator and definately not to HC.

Y'all are way ahead of yourselves.

Oregon is going to be better off now.....

You just watch. It's going to be hard for me to stomach, but those guys will probably go undefeated in the regular season the next 2 years.

Oregon ain't gonna miss a beat its now a system just like how Texas tech was

Only thing will change issue how much they go for 4th down

Not knocking chip Kelly who was a great play caller but Oregon system is in place so as long as they follow the script they will be top10 and in the tuning for title or bcs game

:10:

I think it's destiny. Always have...since Frost was at Northern Iowa holding a DC position.

Having said that...I think the equalizer is I admit I'm the biggest Frost fan in the universe.
