How do we address QB from here on out?

And I'm basing it off of my complaints when the game was actually going on. Getting FGs early on when the score is still close because he decides to stop feeding Howard for some stupid reason. Giving a coach a pass for stupid decisions because of personnel is a terrible way to run a franchise.

There has to be some shit handed towards the OC. The Bears were 2nd in the NFL on yards per attempt on first down. Second only to Atlanta.

By all means, that SHOULD be a recipe for success. Granted, some of the lack of success following that on subsequent downs can be attributed to poor execution, sloppy play, i.e. penalties en sech, but some has to go to the OC as well.


So, in some statistical categories, there is evidence that we were better than we fared on Offense. Dominating on 1st down, is prolly the easiest way to be a successful offense. We did, and still managed to suck the rest the way.

Loggains routinely did this. If he did decide to leave him in he stopped using him in the red zone opting to pass with Barkley instead. Maybe you aren't convinced, but I am damn sure the OC we have right now won't cut it. He won't be around long at all.

Next we will hear that Loggains was not running "his" offense, he was running Gase's offense, so there will be more of the cries that it was not his fault.

As far as first down working, how many times was it Howard that got 7 or8 yards and then they try to get cute? The only intelligent play call I remember from last season was Barkleys first snap he threw a go route down the sideline. Teams were expecting him to hand off.

Then they will blame the defense for not being able to shut out the other teams, not blame the offense for three and outs.

Bottom line, if Fox or Pace felt any heat at all for their jobs, Loggains would have been the sacrificial coach being fired and nobody would be fighting for the great job he did. Shame on the organization for not turning up the heat.

I have not been a Cutler apologist for years.

There really aren't any stats to prove what either of us are saying. It's not fair, but it's the truth. Loggains is garbage. You can keep giving him chances, but I already see the writing on the wall. If I were pace, I'd have already had a long talk with fox about canning Loggains and bringing in a new offensive coaches.
