Adrian Peterson.

Through 14 games, 1,812 yards with 6.3 YPC and 11 TDs, with the 32nd ranked passing offense.

This is coming off of that knee injury too. So everyone thinking that Manning should get extra credit for coming back from his neck injury, don't forget AP's knee.

Thats just incredible, he is more than likely going to run for 2000 yards with a reconstructed knee and the 32nd ranked passing offense. Anyone even thinking of voting for Brady or Manning need to get the shit slapped out of them.

I think Peyton and Luck have a great argument.

JJ Watt, but it won't ever happen for a defensive player again.

OK, JJ Watt is probably the only other guy with a quality argument. What he is doing out of the DE position in a 3-4 is amazing too.

"Hens love roosters
Geese love gander
Everyone else looooves Peyton Manning!"

Not me...

"Well, everyone who counts loves Peyton Manning!"

I'd root for AP over Peyton, but I won't be surprised in the slightest if Peyton wins, in part (IMO) because of his namesake.

I would give it to Rodgers, Peyton, or Brady over AD. Still, AD has to be at least OMVP and Come Back Player of the Year. He's been an absolute stud this year.

Someone asked -- How can he be comeback player of the year when he only missed 1 game last season?

There's no stipulation with the award that says a player needs to miss an X amount of games the season before.

If it is anyone but Adrian Peterson I would be shocked. That guy never ceases to amaze me, honestly I do at this point believe he is one of the greatest RB's to ever play the game. Don't get me wrong, Sanders, Jim Brown, Emmett, Walter, Dickerson and Bo Jackson (might shock some) are still my top guys but Adrian is creeping his way into that conversation for me. He's already there with guys like OJ, Marcus Allen, etc.

I think it's going to come down to who makes the playoffs. If Vikes get in, then I think AD gets it, otherwise, I think Manning has it covered.

I thought this thread was gonna be about our D MVP. Clearly it is Justin Smith. The lights almost went out when he came off the field.

For me, this is a no-brainer - BOTH Adrian & Peyton will win it!

That is twice now that they've lost Justin and the defense has practically fallen apart. Good thing that this time they had a big lead at the time and eventually RayMac and RJF stepped up.

the light almost went out when we switch to soft zone bullshit and gave brady padding to pick us apart.

Lots of great candidates this year. Even Luck, who can't get serious consideration because of his less-than-stellar numbers, deserves a look because of how he's dragged that team up.
