He'll probably get it, but doesn't deserve it. Colorado's team was built up like an NFL team that buy's up all the free agents to win a superbowl. This team wasn't coached from the ground up. Colorado has struggled against weaker opponents, isn't consistent on either side of the ball, and is slow to make adjustments when needed.

The Buffs won one game last season. Since you have an issue with how Sanders has used the transfer portal do you feel the same about all teams that use the portal or just CU?

And what people need to understand is CU isn't a good team. They're a work in progress. But this is the best the team has looked since I got to CO. in 2010. The program before Deion was a straight up dumpster fire year in and year out.

This game proved CU's obvious issues the trenches. All they needed was a throw a run it was over. CU was a dead program it got a boost of life. They have alot of work ahead still. I'd put Hunter as a 100% WR though.

Show me another coach who replaced 3/4 of a team with transfer portal players.

He brought a bunch of kids with him from a smaller division. Let's not pretend all the transfers came from FBS programs.

And why didn't you answer what I asked, do you only have a problem with Sanders & CU but not other teams that use the transfer portal?

The annoying thing about Colorado to me was that after the first couple of games many people acted like it was Colorado vs the World. After they beat a bad Colorado State game in Double OT the headlines were "DO YOU BELIEVE NOW"

I love Colorado and Deion Sanders and I want them to succeed together but this me vs the world and nobody believes in us annoys me. It is going to take some time. Deion has Colorado a MUCH MUCH MUCH better team and it will continue to get better as like Sean Payton he inherited a bad team that he is tasked with building. Just don't act like people are crazy if they don't think Colorado is going to be a "powerhouse" in Deion's first year.

It doesn't mean people don't believe in them now or going forward. It means people are being realistic.
Do you believe now is not a media invention though. The title was quoting what Sanders said. He encourages the hype, can't blame the media for that.

He seems to be a good coach though, at some point his team will catch his mouth. Few years of solid transfers and recruiting.

They were 10-4 in 2016.

4-2 in 2020.

Why did Colorado fire McIntyre? He led them to a 10 win season. Don't remember why they let him go....

Think he coaching at FIU now.

Yeah I know. So since 2010 one winning season and one season shorten to six games. That's one full winning season and a partial winning season in 13 years. Like I said. The CU program has been a dumpster fire for years.

His coaching record. After that 10 win season in '16 the Buffs only won 10 games the next three seasons.

Try again. One percent of transfer portal players would be academically eligible there. Ridiculous example.

Are you fucking high or slow? You asked for an example of a P5 football team with 1 win. I gave you the 2007/8 Duke team that went on to improve their record the next year. That's a bad example? Duke improved their team without a transfer portal while coach nine toes took 51 players from the portal.

Really, which years? Remember CU only won one game last season.

Looking at their year by year record on sports-ref.com the last time duke only won one game in a season was 2007. In 2008 they won 4. In 2005 they also only won one game. But went 0-12 in '06.

The 2008 winless Washington Huskies, who went on to a 5 win season the next year, say to take some mydol for your cramping. So yes, that was a better turn around story than Colorado's this year. I'm beginning to think you're in the slow category.

People are going to troll the Buffs after every loss. They're going to complain after every win and they're going to pile on after every loss. When you have a coach who is unashamed to say "look at us" the way Prime is, this is natural. I don't have a strong opinion about his style. I don't have a strong opinion about how he built the team. If he took advantage of the portal so be it. It was a matter of time before someone did. This is what the NCAA has determined is best for business in College Football.

As a fan and grad of the school I'm just glad to see the team winning again. I said before the season it's a 5 or 6 win team. I never want to see a 29 point lead fall apart, but that kind of thing is exactly why it's important to remember where expectations were at the end of last season. I'll take this season and the wins and losses so far, as well as all the new attention from outsiders who wish Prime was their HC.

Odd he mentioned dook.

Not sure why he cares so much about the Buffs program. Or should I say haters just gonna hate? Yeah that's better.

the issue is any college program can throw any amount of money at Deion and with the portal he can bring anyone he wants with him.

are we confident Deion is here next year?

That would potentially leave Colorado worse than when Deion arrived. How many players would remain? How long would it take Colorado to find a coach, recruit, and get ready for the season? Colorado has Sanders for at least 5 years, unless there's an escape clause.
