The Ravens got screwed by the Orioles. Baltimore sports fans should boycott the Orioles tonight for screwing the Ravens.

Very hard to predict, even more so than usual. Only thing that I am certain about is that if the Broncos win, many fans will say that Denver has still not beaten anyone.

Baltimore is still a very good team and while they may be pushed, they have to be the prohibitive favorites to win the North.

The Ravens are the champs. Sure they've lost some important players but they are still a solid team. If the Broncos win it means something.

Oh, I agree with that. What I was referring to is the fact that on their way to a 13-3 regular season that included housing the Ravens at their place, followed by the narrow double OT loss to the eventual SB champs in the playoffs, many fans claimed all year that the Broncos last year were a mere artifact of their cupcake schedule. I fully expect the same this year.

I think the Broncos will be good. I think the Ravens will be above average. Without going over their schedules, call it 12-4 and 9-7, respectively.

I think the Broncos will struggle in the playoffs, because I think the playoffs are somewhat stacked against their QB. That doesn't mean they're not a very good team, though.

Ravens will have a decent defense. Their front 5 are very intimidating, but their secondary is a little bit shaky. Webb is great when healthy, Huff is average, but the rest is fairly questionable.

That is to be expected. One; it's the first game of the season. So, no one is 100% in 4th quarter shape. Two; they were at mile high. Hard to play in.

I do think the Broncos offense is that good. Baring any injuries, I fully expect Manning to challenge many records. Passing yards and the TD record. Mid 50's.
