If the two teams ever went to the CFB Playoff, would you want the two teams to have a guaranteed meeting in one of the semis or would you rather them be placed on opposite sides of the draw and have a chance to meet in the finals?

I'm so sick of this aggie/horns talk. They left, we still play plenty of Texas schools. If we ever started a yearly non conference rivalry, i'd prefer Arkansas anyway. Way more history with Texas/arky than with the ags.

The only unsolicited advice an OU fan could give to Texas is this: the best revenge is immense success. Don't let a bunch of slack jawed mouth breathers bug you. Focus on your own program, recruit like a banshee and hope you really do see the bastards again when you've got a great team. Then lay 50 on them. Until then just expect them to talk shit because they don't have to back it up anymore.

Growing up in Texas you learn quickly that a&m will find any reason to talk ish. First it was "we have more traditions" then "you guys drink tea" and my favorite "you're all t-shirt fans". Now that they are good enough to have "t shirt fans" its "SEC SEC SEC".

Enough. It is embarrassing for us to feed into the propped up rivalry.
Nobody truly cared about Texas-Aggies until the split happened.

Now the media revises history to make it seem like there was this nonstop bitter hatred.
I get suckered into it myself just like everyone else....but it is getting tiresome.

They don't play each other. And honestly, they don't even have that many recruiting battles, never had much, still don't today, and neither has much reason to bother. They recruit different regions.

Texas always looked at Arkansas and Oklahoma with the hatred.
A&M always looked at Texas Tech and Arkansas as well.

Eventually A&M will find its SEC rival. Arkansas/A&M would be great for the SEC.
And then we can forget about teams that don't even play and likely won't for years.

There aren't many recruiting battles between us right now because we are winning them all....#WRTS

LSU is our rival now. We play every Thanksgiving. I miss the Texas game but there isn't a whole lot that we can do about it besides move on.
