Rangers win and the Angels paid to make it happen. Thanks Angels.
Love it. That is what they get for that back door move they pulled on JD. You just cannot write a better script on how that turned out.

At least an interesting idea if nothing else.

National game eh.Game is on FOX 4 tonight at 6:00.
Looking forward to seeing what Chi Chi gives us Saturday night. I like his desire to work on things at AAA instead of just looking to put up impressive numbers. He will have some ups and downs for awhile and I am sure they will be overreacted to but I am glad he is getting that out of the way this year.
Red Sox DH David Ortiz will probably start Saturday

John Farrell has all but assured that Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz will be ready to roll Saturday against Texas.
"Everything points to he will be in the lineup," Farrell told MLB.com.
Farrell made that declaration Friday night after Ortiz had been given two games off to get his swing together. He is on a 1-for-20 slide that has dropped his batting average to .216.
So we missed Papi for 2 games but get him for games 3 and 4 it appears

As long as every several starts we can look back and say that overall he has improved over what he was a few weeks ago or so I will be satisfied. Something similar to the improvements Martinez made last year. Not sure who, if anyone has any expectations for him coming up now, knowing he's probably really not ready yet? I would expect he's probably going to have a few clunkers and will also pitch pretty well from time to time. Really no point in getting all worked up about him, unless he just starts going all Cody Buckel and walking every batter of course
DeShields 7, Andrus 6, Fielder DH, Beltre 5, Hamilton 9, Rosales 3, Martin 8, Chirinos 2, Alberto 4
Mitch and Choo not in lineup tonight. Hanser at 2B.
I don't see this lineup putting much fear in the opposing pitcher.
Nothing like giving a rookie starter a lot of confidence by running this lineup out there for run support. What is the infatuation with Elvis batting in the 2 hole?
