Tell me where I've said anyone isn't entitled to their opinion. Show me where I'm whining (that one baffles me. I'm guessing you don't know what whining means ). Tell me how it's being overly positive to say I'm frustrated, but it's far too early to judge what this team is able to do come the dog days of summer.

Anyhoo, the offense we got was supposed to supplement great pitching that the team's had for years, and what it's been built on. There are a lot of question marks about pitching right now, particularly the starting lineup. As it gets warmer, those questions will get amplified if anything. This isn't rocket science, nor is it too early to talk about it.

The very same people getting all whiney about those of us trying to discuss problems after "only 10 games" are the very same ones who gush about Ackley and Smith after the exact same sample size. Go figure.

This is EXACTLY what I was talking about to open the season. Anyone not a part of your good-old-boy network up here to just pat each other on the back is ridiculed and you all attempt to run them off.

I have been quite clear:
This stretch is frustrating to watch. No one is happy with things as they stand.
No one is going to argue that the starting pitching and hitting by Cano and Seager will improve at some point.
No one is going to argue that the team is sucking RIGHT NOW. No one. And no one tried to say otherwise.
Suggesting I (that is ME, not saying everyone else should) will wait to classify the teams chances this year as a whole until after mid-May is in no way being overly optimistic, because I've made no predictions about what those feeling will be. It could very well be I'm thinking they have zero chance at that point. It's certainly possible.

So tell me, all you holier than thou fans up here, where have I been doing anything you accuse me of. Direct quotes would be awesome.

I did say it's a bonus they have been producing, but I'd sure like to see where I've made any suggestion about what that means for their entire season. Please clue me in so I can correct that mistake right away.

I'm guessing you guys have no idea what whiney/whining actually means, because it's the people crying that the season is over that this more aptly applies to. Not someone saying I'll wait for a bit to get to that point.

I don't care if you all want to write off the entire season now. Go for it. All I've said is I'll wait to judge. That's a far cry from what you are accusing me of. Not ONCE have I said anything about them being a playoff worthy team or any such nonsense.

I didn't realize Jack Z was a Moderator on here. Sorry Jack, you are doing a great job in your 7th season. You are keeping the team profitable while giving the fan base optimism w/o even a sniff of success. That truly should make you GM of the year.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. It is all good. Mellow out. That is just one of my pet peeves along with how people say you can't hit homers at Safeco but opponents do. No M's will never lead the league in homers, but they don't have to. Just be homer competitive with your opponents. And no homers are not the deciding factor in how to win a championship. I'll take a doubles team all night long.

That was one of the things I saw from Cruz in an interview that made me very happy. He said that he was looking to hit line drives, and if they go out, then great, but that wasn't going to be his focus at Safeco. So far.

It took Cano about a month last year to get it figured out, and he soared after that.

Right now, I just want to see the M's play a full game without any bonehead stupidity. Not too much to ask.

I like how you put 'only 10 games' in quotes like it's some kind of exageration and then say people are 'gushing' about Ackley and Smith because someone mentioned their unexpectedly pleasant start has been a bonus in what as been a rough beginning...
