After our lousy start to the season, we're only 1 game back and our pitchers haven't even played well...

Best Mariner AB for Jackson to date. Deserves the praise.

I have noticed a little improvement the last few games. He's close to the top in AL for most pitches per plate appearance. Next step for him is to start driving the mistake pitches instead of fouling them. Regardless he has looked a lot more comfortable.

Still worried about the pitching big time, but they kept grinding it out today and that was nice to see. Nice W. Very needed to stop the bleeding, but this team still has a lot to work on. All those losses really put them in a hole early.

Smith had a nice ab before Jackson to work a walk. That's where the team is definitely better. Romero or Jones wouldn't put up an AB like that

Pretty sure nobody was against Cruz getting signed.

He'd have to bat on his head to do worse than than our DH spot last year.

I didn't expect him to have this many homers by April 19th. It's kind of absurd. lol. Love it.

Wasn't just the length of the contract it was the #19 overall pick in the 1st round that was forfeited as well due to the signing...

Who, besides the Mariners management didn't want Cruz last off season? I'm pretty most Mariners fans were begging for them to sign him especially since he was cheaper than Morales and even post PED's was a better option than Hart. I don't think anyone in their honest opinion thought he'd be this good but a bargain price for him as opposed to Hart IMO was a no brainer.
