Holy Shit... Bucs just canned Lovie Smith

Lovie walked into a train wreck, then drafted a rookie QB. Shit I get more Bucs news just driving to work than I get Skins news i pay to have access to in some cases.

Lovie might not have been the guy to get them a Lombardi, but Im going to be seriously wondering who they are going to hand that team, and in particular that QB over to.

Would actually be a solid choice for them. He sort of comes from a defensive minded tree even though he is an offense guy. I think Hue would come in and stress fixing the defense to relieve the stress on the offense. Not sure if Crablegz is the perfect QB for him, but Hue is quietly one of the better coaching candidates out there. And i would much rather see him go to Tampa, than come to the NFCEast.

OK so rumor is, Lovie the talent guy got Lovie the coach fired. While Tampa has a GM in Litch, Lovie basically had final say on the roster. And from the news out of Tampa, that had alot to do with him getting canned.

Agreed, how ever, canning a guy after two seasons is a sure fire way to put your team into perpetual tail spin mode. Especially if said team has a starter going into his second year on the job at QB. Not saying changes were not needed in Tampa, but firing the HC might come back to haunt them for a few seasons.

Especially a well respected coach. Seriously, do you think an established coach will go there now? No chance in hell. How do you think Winston will react to the new coach? There are so many variables unless Koetter is the guy that just sets this franchise way back.

Also, does anybody remember what Lovie took over for? Schianno was Jim Zorn south. He had people going after knees in victory formation and totally pissed on Doug Martin.
