Cool, I didn't read it but I am sure it is right. I was just being a dickhead.
I know. I was to. Hopefully its out my system, but after skimming the forum...

Hey, thanks, man. You guys need a casino now. That's why a lot of folks flock to Morongo. But your area has got other places to see whereas Morongo is out in the middle of nowhere. I've seen those Chinese tourists in droves at Morongo. Unbelievable stuff. I gotta check them out up your ways though!
Wow. I can say in the most literal sense possible. I've never heard anyone who isn't from Barstow, and I could say this about a lot of people who are. Describe it as an area with other places to see. I'm sincerely interested in hearing what places you're referring to if you don't mind saying so.
Well, by places to see, I mean things like developing communities and neighborhoods in the general area. I count those as Hesperia, Victorville and Apple Valley since they're in close proximity / work driving distance to Barstow. Morongo, as you know, is basically out in the middle of nowhere, unless, of course, you characterize the casino / outlets as "somewhere" unto itself.
Ah, got ya. I thought that might be the direction you were going. There's some cool shit out here though. The coolest probably being out in Afton Canyon. The river comes above ground there and is partially in a huge cave. I'm glad not many know about it. There's some underground springs out in Hesperia/AV that's really well known. Its real cool too, but gets way too tourist-like too much of the time.
Truly amazed this thread has lasted 8 pages.
Cousins is a legitimate NFL Quarterback. That's beyond question.
Even if he had the most weapons in the entire NFL (which he did not), and was protected by the absolute best OLine in the NFL (which he was not), and was in the absolute perfect system suited exactly for his specific talent set, and even if he had perfect play calls made on every single play from scrimmage, he STILL had to be the one to execute the plays.
Some of you forget how embarrassing it was to watch the parade of absolute losers fail to execute the simplest of quarterback plays for the last 20 years.
How about RG3's pocket presence?
How about Good Rex Grossman vs Bad Rex Grossman?
How about Jason Campbell's "Captain Checkdown" approach to taking the minimum at all times?
How about shellshocked Patrick Ramsey, pummeled in his first two years, then awful after that?
How about the collective noodle armed qb's who couldn't throw it longer than 20 yards: Shane Matthews, Tony Banks, Tim Hassleback, John Beck?
How about Donovan McNabb's boneheaded plays made one year after he SHOULD have retired?
You pay KC because he executed the plays better than any of the other qb's I've mentioned did, because it doesn't matter if he had the most superawesome weapons at his disposal or not, or if his coach tailored their offense to his skill set, or if he might be a smidgeon below the middle tier, or that he might be "only pretty good" instead of "elite," or because he threw that ghastly int against the giants.
You pay KC because there is literally and truly NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE.
You KNOW this because you're a fucking REDSKINS FAN, and you've SEEN the ALTERNATIVES.
Yes Breed. I mean you.
I agree. Cuz is legit.
I haven't forgotten anything. I remember those days.
I think it makes a difference far as weapons go. A significant one. Systems being tailored or good to great fits to a player's skillset or vice versa is the ideal model. Lotta wiggle room there between the levels of skill you're talking about. Actually his last 4 interceptions, one of which was a pick 6 and 2 of which sealed victories for the opposition were all pretty bad. Oddly enough the pick 6 turned out to be the least harmful one. And I can't front. The way the Skins finished with a whimper and not a bang was very disappointing.
I've never said not to sign KC. I just don't agree with the changing narrative that Cuz is some football god who's suddenly become the best QB in football. Who I wouldn't trade for any other QB in the NFL. Or that he makes those around him better. Nor will I throw others under the bus or diminish the importance of those players by giving credit to another player he doesn't deserve.
There are other reasons as well, but I gotta go right now.
Peace
Thing is, Cousins is the QB ( not athlete mind you) that we have seen under center since we let Brad Johnson go in order to have Jeff George. You can make the argument that there are QBs who would do better than him, but of whats available to us now... it would be hard to find as good much less better for us. We can pine for a Rogers, Brady or the likes til we are blue in the face. But chasing the elite QB and not letting a QB or Coach develop is what got us into this mess in the first place. And to say, well the weapons around him are totally what makes Kirk a good QB is some what false because we see what the previous guy did with those weapons when he was forced to play a more traditional QB role because he didnt have the wheels or health to be a dual threat any more. So would I trade for Brady?? Sure. But then again I would also trade my Truck for a Lambo. But as I dont have access to a Lambo trade I guess I will have to be content with my truck and keep my pimp game strong instead of relying on the ride to pull tail for me. If I were in a tail pulling situation that is.
I agree. Cuz is legit.

I love to see ehb and Breed hugging.
Yeah, it seems E and I, and maybe Sty, are the only ones who aren't ready to happily jump head first into the Cuz lovefest you and the rest of the forum is having.
If someone told you we could get a qb in the 4th round of this year's draft that would break numerous Redskins passing records, win a division, have back to back winning season for the first time in 20 years, and almost throw for 5000 yards in his first two years as a starter, would you draft him?

I like Cousins, but I like winning more. If they can find a way to win I don't care who is on the team. It does kind of crack me up that there must be 1,000 or more posts on this now. Pretty sure I know where you guys stand on this subject. Much like the Scherff threads.
Watson will cost us more than a #1 as we will have to trade up. We've been to this movie before and it didn't turn out so well.I just don't understand. We hit the jackpot. We have our Dak Prescott. It's time to pay up, or go burn a #1 on Watson and start over.
