Did our D finish top 3 categories and end up only 3rd team in history to do so? Haven't ckd or heard after Sunday game.

Well we finished 1st in total defense, 1st in passing defense, 2nd in run defense, 1st in sacks, and 4th in scoring.

Damn! I think they missed it then. Bears and some team ( can't remember) from the '40s I believe we're only two so far.

We were actually 3rd against the run, the Seahawks snuck in to finish 1st while we were right behind the Jets.

KC actually gave up less PPG than Denver. Denver probably leads the league in scoring without all the turnovers from the offense

KC definitely has a good Defense - that new CB Peters - was a steal for them -wish he was Bronco stock.

KC is the definition of the kind of team I think runs out of gas in the playoffs. They are Foxballers.

I think he will play significant snaps before the season is done.

I think the chances of Osweiler taking all the snaps through the Super Bowl at less than 50/50. Manning is getting healthy, if he has to replace Oz for injury reasons - he will be healthy - he will have premium experience with all the play makers - there will be a favorable emotional surge in the stands and with the Broncos if he comes in to pull one out or play out a game. On top this - the Broncos will likely be playing his offense - because that is the offense Oz excels at too. I think there is a good chance there is a last Hurrah opportunity for Manning - making this a legendary season for multiple reasons.
I just wanted to give you props, Mingo, for calling this four days before it actually transpired.

Good work, my man!!

Not sure where else to put this but did anybody else listen to the interview with John Elway on 104.3 I think it was yesterday?

Now Elway didn't really give much away concerning who will start here 2 Sundays from now but I did find his comments about contract thoughts towards Osweiler. Essentially they do have him as a priority as a player to sign beyond this year and hope for him to be our QB for a very long time. Elway almost sounded giddy at the idea of trying to get him signed long-term.

I didn't hear that interview, but I am not surprised if the plan is to sign Oz to a new deal. He played well enough that he clearly improved his bargaining position, but not well enough that it is likely to break the bank to re-sign him.

I listened to the entire interview on the way home. I agree with you that he was adamant about wanting to get Brock locked up for the long term. He was also especially complimentary about Kubiak and the coaching staff. It was pretty funny when D-Mac kept pressing him on who would start at QB. Elway laughed and said "that's why there are doors on room. Those conversations can take place with the door shut." He also said that he thought this team represented the kicking and screaming that he was looking for and that they are battle tested heading into the playoffs.
