we really enjoy the zoo... we have a zoo pass and like to go on nice days in the winter and fall

I've taken the peeps three times in 2010 already. The pass doesn't have to be renewed until April so it's all gravy right now. Like you said there's less people off season and most of the exhibits are indoor so you're only going outside to go between them. The only difference is my daughter likes to ride the carousel and my son likes to ride the train and they don't run in the winter.
Paying the $75 for the annual pass is just to easy.
