While Hastings lays claim to the invention of Kool-Aide, it's earliest origins lye in Hendley, NE. ( population 34 ). The inventor of Kool-Aide also invented Jello. I live in Furnas County, where Hendley is located, and it always erks me when Hastings has their Kool-Aide Days.
