What ever happened to that Arron curry fella. MLB if I'm not mistaken. I remember you picked him right before the browns with I think the 4th pick in the draft and I was so pissed cuz I wanted him. Is he still on your team? I haven't heard of him for a couple years now.

Not a Seahawks fan but he got traded to the Raiders for I think a 7th round pick or something. He was with them a couple of years but spent most of it injured. He then signed with the Giants but did not make it through the cut phase of training camp.

Pretty much...Physically he was a very talented guy but just never seemed to grasp the mental side of the game. Kind of like Rolando McClain for the Raiders. Had the physical tools to be one of the best in the league but just couldn't mentally handle all the game threw at him.

I guess you could look at it that way, but him being traded to the Raiders made way for K.J. Wright and drafting our current MLB Bobby Wagner.

Curry was the ideal linebacker from the neck down but he's as dumb as a bag of rocks. He just couldn't grasp the game at the pro level.

Highly touted draft picks disappoint all the time but I don't think anyone foresaw Curry failing as completely as he did. He was supposed to be a perennial pro bowler but he's not even in the league now.

Exactly. His last play as a Seahawk was an Eli Manning gift wrapped interception that went right through his hands, only to be caught a few yards behind him by Kam Chancellor, because Kam is a good football player.

Raiders had him 2 years ago then released him last year after injury. he showed a lot of promise and was a vocal leader on defense. But I think something happened to his knee or something and he just couldn't recover.

Sucks tho. He was a definitely serviceable and playmaker.

Oh yea. That was the draft we traded out of the Sanchez pick and took C Alex Mack. Looks like it was a blessing in disguise. Man the jets traded up with us to take Sanchez smh.
