That's exactly what you have to say after a whipping like that in order to file it away in a safe place and move on. We've all been there.

The truth is, there's probably a few ways we look back on that game:

1) it truly was a wake-up call for the Cards and they roll on through the playoffs and come out of the NFC.

2) Seahawks beat the Cards in the playoffs and we point to week 17 as the confidence booster that fueled it.

3) Cards don't do #1, Hawks don't do #2, and we have no conclusions to draw from week 17's matchup.

I have been watching the NFL since 1954 and I like pro football. You can complain all you want and you won't/can't fix human error. IMO, the NFL refs do a good job. Yes they make mistakes, but that can be expected.

And I'd like to see what these posters could do while they war the pinstripes.....I'm thinking the only call they could make right would be whether or not a fg was good......
