So, you implied that the Seahawks didn't belong in the playoffs because of the missed call at the end of the Lions game meant they were not one of the best teams. You were incorrect. Seattle is still one of the 6 best NFC teams even without the win against Detroit. You may want to say that isn't what you meant, but it is what you posted.

As far as the reffing goes - I prefer that the refs on the field stay in control of the game. This may lead to mistakes, but I would rather have that than the alternatives that have been suggested to replace that. Now, if you're advocating simplifying the rule book so that refs don't need law degrees to be able to know/understand it all, then I'm all for it.
