 so far a huge turn around over last season. you got Illinois. Minnesota and Purdue winning football games, Indiana lost a close one to a decent Navy program. Michigan beat Notre Dame.

Week 3 your teams get a big test with Wisconsin, Illinois, Nebraska, Ohio State (vs CAL @ CAL who really knows) we will see if the B1G is climbing their way back up after last seasons bad performance.

We had one bad weekend last season. Come bowl time, a 4-4 team starting its #3 QB after their coaching staff left played even with your conference champs for 60 minutes. Michigan was even with an SEC team with the same record. Nebraska was close with Georgia. Northwestern beat Mississippi State. And that's not even getting into how a terrible MN team that got killed in the B1G nearly beat Texas Tech and 3-5 MSU beat TCU.

2011 was the weakest the B1G has been in my lifetime. And even then we played your stacked team down to the very last second. Michigan State beat a very good Georgia team. And Michigan won a BCS bowl.

Zero wins OOC against the Top 10

The jury is still out overall though it does look improved over last year.

People have been pretty easy on the PAC 10 considering one of their Preseason ranked teams lost to a 1 AA team.

Cough, cough, cough. Ahem. Cupcakes for everyone!!

After September 7 schedule for the B1G, I think any other week's schedule will look good.

Missouri State(FCS), San Diego State(lost to FCS in week 1), New Mexico State, Southern Mississippi(now a 14 game losing streak), Indiana State(FCS), Eastern Michigan, South Florida, and Tennessee Tech(FCS).

Not surprising, the B1G won all eight of those games.

The big ten hasn't played anyone in the top ten.

Saying "B1G Ten" is redundant.

That's because the B1G OOC scheduling is atrocious this year.
I'm looking forward to LSU, Bama and LSU to start the next three seasons, even if we lose. I don't think Wisconsin will get blown out of any games.

Everyone knows Purdue is garbage. This is like judging the SEC by Kentucky, Big 12 by Kansas or PAC-12 by Colorado.

The OP mentioned Purdue as one of the improved B1G teams, hence my post.

Most likely the B1G won't play anyone in the Top 10 IC except tOSU.

Terrible OOC scheduling = Left out of NCG

The SEC never worried about this with their awful OOC schedule. (I know they are the SEC, right.) The B1G looks improved and may not get dinged for this. I know TOSU schedules years in advance so really can't put the fault on them for the teams they are playing sucking balls.

Unless they get a lot of love from the pollsters their OOC will kill them this year. The BCS computers don't take too kindly to a soft schedule as you know.

If TOSU go undefeated and everyone else is one less no issues. TOSU will have problems getting in if Clemson, Alabama and Oregon also go undefeated. Could happen, but lots of football to be played. I hope I'm having this conversation in December.

Kindly show me how the SEC conference OOC schedule is somehow worse than the OOC schedule of the B1G (or tOSU) when the SEC has played more, and a higher percentage of, AP Top 10 teams, AP ranked teams, opponents with winning records, and Bowl teams.
