Kirk will get the next three games as his final audition this year. He will put up yards and points, but likely still make some costly mistakes that will continue to keep the question out there of if he can ever develop into a true starting QB.

Swing to week 11, Unless Kirk has won his weeks 7-9 starts in convincing fashion, Rg3 will be back as the starter in week 11. At which point we have basically gone into evaluation mode for the entire roster. Unlike last year, guys are not feeling like they are playing for a dead man walking, but actually trying to prove they belong despite the likely losing record at that time.

In the end, Gurden will quietly inform both Qbs that next years starting position will be open to be won as both guys will likely have shown some ability but also some flaws.

This is why I never understood your position regarding the last 3 games in 2013. Players are constantly trying to prove they belong. What player in their right mind want to puts up bad tape of himself, especially in a regular season game? They all understand that even if their current team cuts them their ability to land work relies on that game film. So unless they are named Albert Haynesworth players do not go half asses just because their coach is out the door.

Now that does not mean they go with the intensity of the NFC Championship Game. Their are levels of intensity. But to say they will play with more effort now then they did for a lame duck coach is just not accurate.

Wouldn't surprise me at all to see Colt for a game or two if KC continues to throw INTs at key moments.

I see the possibility of him playing even without injury if the TOs continue because of KC pressing.

Its called human nature. If you know the boss is about to get fired, you start simply going through the motions at some point. What player is going to go out and risk future seasons to injury if the team is already 3-13. Any one that cant accept that most of the players were just playing out the string by the time Cousins got in, is basically being unrealistic.

I really want to know what an RG3 hater is? Someone that questions his ability? Fans get so supportive of certain players that if you say anything that isn't positive you're a hater. I don't care if Elmer Fudd plays well. I guess that is why they are called fanatics.

an Rg3 hater is someone who bashes him for everything . everything is his fault , he cant do or say anything without drawing the ire of the hater , they arent fair in their assessments of him and give him no chance to improve

and we all know the difference between "questioning " and bashing sportster

and believe me some are not "questioning " they are bashing

and that is what i am talking about

its fair on some things for sure rg3's health is an issue , his reads are an issue , his decisions are and issue and that is fair

but most of the off field crap is just that , things people latch on too without a shred of proof and the hater believes that and refuses to accept the facts

Well it looks like the Cousins experiment is over, can't say I told you so but I did.
I really wanted him to succeed because I want wins but the guy just doesn't see the field well at times and his judgement is questionable. He has the arm and mechanic's but he is behind or way in front on alot of his passes? Good luck on his next career.

Well, then I must be a hater, although I hope the guy comes back soon and becomes our franchise QB. Because I have questioned, and still question, how he handles himself both on and off the field. While it may be crap to you, many of us see it otherwise.

i dont think you are unfair about things i dont think you are a hater per se

i think you have legit questions but on some things you dont concede that its simple speculation over fact

Oh, I concede that some of the off field things (not all) are speculation. But I've learned in life that when there is smoke, there is usually fire.

and i have learned that reporters have agendas and unless you come at me with facts , legit sources who will stand up and say what things are then , to me its just here say

when you publish an anonymous source that raises a red flag to me if you are going to take a shot at a guy then have the courage to put your name to it

sorry but that is what a real man does

if you cant put your name to it then shut up . if you fear being fired from a football team then shut up

but a real man takes ownership of his comments

hiding behind a reporter in fear is cowardly period and there is no negotiating on that with me

now all of this is relative to a football team , understand ?

I actually find the off the field stuff interesting. The reason is I listen to local personalities who know some of what when on but won't discuss it. In an era when everything is tell all etc. why they don't say more surprises me. What I have heard is all sides were guilty and I don't have any problem believing this.

Then too I am the biggest CSI theorist of all. I believe that Snyder still heavily influences what happens through Bruce Allen and Jay Gruden is just a puppet. Not only is it Snyder's MO but my younger brother worked for the Redskins for a few years so all I know from him suggests that my CSI theories are right.

I don't know how soon Griffin will be back and I hope they wait long enough to make sure he is healthy. As Redskin fans we better hope that Griffin can return to somewhere near his 2012 form. I think management is all in for him, at least for now. Otherwise we are going to be looking for a QB again.

So does a real man also go onto a national broadcast and constantly take veiled shots to cause issues?? Oh right, I forget he was 23 and didnt know any better. See this is the type of BS that I get bothered by. Mr stand up guy was just as guilty of manipulating the press and the fan base as you want to say the reporters are. But you find nothing wrong with it.

Exactly. Dad, if you are going to call out the standard, then it needs to apply to all. Even RG3. Here are two examples of things he did and said, not reported by someone else, but things I heard and saw:

Fact 1. He revised history when it came to his involvement with his continuing to play in the seattle game. He told shanahan he was good during the game. Yet months later, he implied that it was all shanahan's decision. Is that completely forthright? Is that being a man?

Fact 2. He forced shanahan's hand in starting last season with his all in for week one campaign and going to the press to tell the world that shanahan promised him that if he was medically cleared, he would start game 1. He basically positioned shanahan as a liar if he didn't start. Yet he wasn't ready and he knew it. Is this the right way to handle this? Is this being a man?

Its these type of actions that lead many of us to have concern for RG3 and his motivations. This is not CSI stuff. These things happened.
