Absolutely NO WAY!!! Don't have to cut him now, he will not be on the roster for 4 games. Jackson, once he returns, will have more value than Tapp.

If Jenkins and Tapp make the team someone has to not make it. I think they really like Jenkins and he is young and cheap. Tapp has flashed a lot in the 3 preseason games he has played.

Jackson would be someone who makes sense. He's on a one year deal, suspended for 4 games. And virtually all of his contract would be money saved vs. the cap. Very little hit.

Tapp and Jenkins make him expendable.

The only thing that would suck is that he does have some trade value IMO.

But, I will say this... if Jackson is cut, it won't happen till the bye week. He doesn't count against the roster until his suspension is over. So there's no real need to do it now.

You can have 8 on the PS. But the restriction there are, no player with more than 8 games on an active roster or more than three years of eligibility to be on an active roster. So guys who are out of the mix for PS are... any one not a rookie basically. Jackson couldnt go to the PS, nor could Pat white.

Let the cuts begin. Regarding Rob Jackson, I would have to say no way. Not this year. The guy makes plays. It's all he does. Can't let him go. By week 4 who knows if Raks peck is still in tacked.

The Post just reported that Williams made the team over Royster, Thompson, and Jamision. I guess its a special teams move.
