1. I'm guessing the NFLPA wouldn't go along with that.
2. They don't want to give the impression that they don't care. It would hurt their ability to make money.
3. It would scare parents even more than the current situation. The sport of football (at all levels) would be harmed very badly.
I agree with all of those to an extent. I think you get rid of the NFLPA eventually though. I think they wouldn't make as much money, but I don't think it would be because people stopped watching the games.
