Micro and I are actually buds, but there's certainly no love lost around here when certain guys get to arguing.

There's a thread titled something to the effect of "finally the draft, talent, needs all line up" or something like that. Scan through some pages of that if you want to see a "debate" that ventured far, far from talking about football...

Just turned on the Tigers game in the ninth. After the game they said something about a bench clearing brawl. What happened?

Wasn't much of a brawl.

Their pitcher threw at Prince's head on the pitch directly following a Miggy HR. The next inning our guy plunked one of the Sox batters in the ass.

Our pitcher (Putkonen (sp)) and Leyland got ejected, but Leyland let the home plate ump have it for about 10 minutes before he left.

Basically just more shitty umping in the summer that they (the umps) have decided that they're making the games about them, and not the players. Too bad Bud Selig (sp) is such a clueless dirtbag and won't let accurate technology supplement subjective old guys who think they can call the strike zone like they see it, not how it actually is...

Putkonen didn't plunk anyone, He threw behind him which in this case was worse. No Brawl, just Managers taking care of business the old school way. The Problem comes who you throw at and in what situation.

Sale should never go that high and inside on Prince. Putkonen throwing behind a Sox scrub was just retaliation, but I would have went after Dunn, Rios and definetely Konerko if he was in the game.

The game really is a eye for an eye and they went after one of our big boys, JL went after Ramirez...Not a fair trade if they both end up on the DL Tigers lost that battle. Who gives a crap if someone beans Pena? But if you go High on Prince, theres a big difference.
