Wasn't much of a brawl.

Their pitcher threw at Prince's head on the pitch directly following a Miggy HR. The next inning our guy plunked one of the Sox batters in the ass.

Our pitcher (Putkonen (sp)) and Leyland got ejected, but Leyland let the home plate ump have it for about 10 minutes before he left.

Basically just more shitty umping in the summer that they (the umps) have decided that they're making the games about them, and not the players. Too bad Bud Selig (sp) is such a clueless dirtbag and won't let accurate technology supplement subjective old guys who think they can call the strike zone like they see it, not how it actually is...
I absofuckingluty hate instant replay. In basically all forms, especially baseball.

@ Muzzer- I guess you're right, since the guy kept batting after the pitching change. Looked to me like he clipped him in the bum, but obviously not.

@ Smitty- you don't like making sure old ass men who can't keep up with the speed of young men's games get the calls right?

Egh... I'm a Luddite man. The delays don't outweigh the chance of overturning a bad call to me. It's a game played by humans, watched by humans and officiated/umpired by humans. I'd rather bitch about a bad call every now and then, than have replay. That stupid balls n strikes box needs to go too. There isn't a strike box that's standard for every umpire, just like there isn't a standard size for every outfield, dugout or foul territory.

The strike zone is supposed to be standard, though. It should be damn close regardless of umpire, pitcher, or batter.

The delays certainly wouldn't be good in baseball, since there's so many built in delays already. If there was an ump working the replay (not for balls and strikes, but close plays, questionable HRs, etc...) who had the ability to instantly over-rule a call, I think that would really benefit the game. Games should be decided by the players, not the umps missing a crucial call.

If said system was in place Galaraga (I know I didn't spell that even close) would have had a perfect game, rather than being robbed of one by simple human error...

Are you talking about the same box I'm thinking about?

And what's all this talk about standard size? I see women have been lying to you.:laugh3: Oh No I Didn't.

That Armando game not being a perfecto I put squarely on Armando. The Eore muthafugga just smiled like it didn't matter. Cuz he doesn't give a shit about baseball. It should have been the last pitch he threw, cuz he should of got tossed when Joyce wouldn't consult with the rest of the crew. I see your point on that one, but I feel like replay has diminished officiating in football. refs swallow their whistles, and rely on replay. (Paragraph) I can't stand Galarraga, and from what I hear he pitched in Toledo last night. That uppity doucher won sportsmanship awards for that balls less showing, 'twas a damn shame.

:agree: Does this mean I have lost all credibility now?

I have seen what happened now with the loud misunderstanding on the field.

Damnit I am a dumbass. That was supposed to be aimed at post 23 not post 26.
