Following a useless effort vs Boston, this is what we come up with against Florida?! I am more convinced than ever Ron Wilson is the problem. The whole game all he did was stand with a confused look on his face. Not getting on his players at all. Now we will get the same routine in his post game.

I agree.

I don't think that the Leafs are contenders, or even that close yet, but Wilson seems to bring nothing to the table most nights.

The funny thing, especially as a Sens fan , is that the Leafs hot start has probably kept Ronnie's job for the year.

Jose Theodore's been really solid this year.
Trust me, I watch this team every night. The Panthers basically play no defense. Kinda like tonight. It looks like they're playing a fun video game every game.

If Reimer plays tonight...I don't know who wins, but that would've been a good game.

Of the 5 goals the Panthers scored, 3 (at the very least) have very little business being goals.

The Leafs probably had more scoring chances actually.

I actually think Burke is waiting for the right time to fire Wilson, I really do. Hence why he doesn't have a contract extension. Obviously the hot start made that impossible. But if we go into the tank for the next 4 or 5 games, it could be the end of that gargoyle.

Habs were no better. They had a lot of shots but no real pressure on Khabi most of the night. Pretty listless effort overall, their late goal makes the game look closer than it was.

I am not so much ashamed of the loss, but didnt think the effort was very good. Not uncommon for this team. The Oilers were solid and very opportunistic.
