I used to hate it and cringe when LBJ took long 2s. Now I just hate it, he hits them all day. What if he just stepped one step back though and took the 3?
Wade will never see a diminished role. Wade is playing great basketball and Beasley will never be close to the player Wade is. He is what he is which is a productive role player.
There is no reason for Beasley to start as all it does is weakened the bench. Our starters are fine
I am talking in the future, Beasley can score with the best of them but he lacks D, which 50% of is effort. If he learns that then he should see starter minutes. I think he could be Melo light who plays D more than twice a playoff showing.
Let me get this straight, I do not think Beasley will be better than Wade ever, but Wade is on the wrong side of 30 and to remain championship caliber they will need some younger faces. I think Beasley is that face.
The Heat will never win a title if Beasley is the 2nd option. Wade is great and now that the Heat are managing his games in the regular season he will be even better when it matters. He will play 63-70 games this year and be well rested for the playoffs.
BTW in his last 3 games he is avg 23.3 PPG, 6.3 APG, and 4.6 RPG on 65% shooting
I did not know that, i might swing in there rather than make these. And i was thinking more 3b option behind bosh tied with the pgs. And wade has looked great, he is coming back better than I expected.
@October i was working.so.the thread came.in late.
Botslayer, bro you need to quit posting if you think Beasley's ever going to take over Wade's role. That's like a Lakers fan coming out an saying a guy like JR Smith (just using him as an example) is going to take over for Kobe.
Besides, Wade's been playing great so far and Beasley's a 3/4 Forward, not a guard who can play the 1 or the 2. Two completely different players.
