The triangle takes to long to learn - but I think for this series - the team that could execute the triangle in perfect fashion would be a cinch to win - I already know neither will do it - both teams are too athletic and fast to go that slow, but they slowed the game down alreay anyway - just saying - there are times when I think the triangle would be a good option. My problem with the Lakers is they stuck to the game plan too long and got stale

I could see the Pacers running the triangle but the Heat dont need it. Lebron is unique in that he can get to the rack on anyone so they have to send help and he can pass to make them pay for sending help. Triangle would overload one side and make it hard to operate for the Heat.

D-Wade is playing on an injured knee so I give him a pass. Bosh is the one who needs to step up consistently.

Also Spo needs to do one of 3 things with Battier.

1) Have him guarding the 3 instead of the 4 when he's in the game

2) Replace him with Mike Miller

3) Replace him with Joel Anthony

Miami shot 39%, got out rebounded by 19, and outscored in the paint by 18 and probably should of won the game

If you put Battier on the 3 that pulls him away from the basket where he draws alot of charges as a help defender. He also saves some wear and tear on Lebron guarding West. On offense he spaces the floor for the 3. Joel and Miller are one dimensional while Battier brings both needs to the table.

But Battier is useless on offense in this series and useless on defense when he is guarding West. I'm not asking for Joel/Miller to get big minutes but with Battier struggling, I would like to see at least one of them get 7-10 of his MPG. Joel is actually the Heat best post on the ball defender.

I see what you are saying about at least letting them get some run. I thought you meant not letting Battier play at all. Joel hands are made out of bricks. Miller is a willing enough defender but he is not going to be able to guard anyone out on the court.
