At first I thought this whole thing was just a ploy to put some heat on St Louis but the people that Kroenke is partnering with in this venture are big "bring back the Rams" folks. At least that is what I hear from people I trust.

Vince Ferragamo is one of those bring-back-the-Rams people you speak of Rambunctious and he is also a small-time investor that is hooking up with Kroneke's investment group. Former Rams players like Ferragamo are beginning to assemble. Fred Dryer is another.

To me we have no home field advantage in St Louis! I just get so sick and tired of seeing visting fans overwhellming our stadium! The lower bowl section seats get sold to visitors most of the time! This has got to piss off the players let alone the fans! ......WTF??

The sad part in all of this is that it is not even about the team or the players anymore. We know they will play regardless. Stan has literally lied to the people of St Louis from the jump if he does end up moving. If he did not want to keep them here, as he stated in his press conference when he exercised his option to purchase the shares from Chip and Lucia (" I am a Missourian. I will do everything in my power to keep the Rams in St Louis") he should have let Shad Khan buy the team. At least Khan wanted to keep them here. I understand the business aspect of the whole thing and I can see WHY he would want to be in LA, but to say he will not need public funds in LA, but absolutely MUST have public funds in St Louis is simply wrong. Just as there are investors in Los Angeles, there are lines of local folks willing to invest in a new stadium in St Louis (Dave Peacock, Dr Chaifitz, Bill DeWitt, Tom Stillman, Nelly, Jon Hamm) to make sure the Rams stay. Looks to me as if Kroenke is simply thumbing his nose at St Louis and the NFL. THAT, my friends is what is sad.

Chargers once called L.A. home & left.

Raiders once called L.A. home & left.

Rams once called L.A. home & left...

if the Rams return what's the over/under on years they stay put before they leave town again?

Yep, Commish. That possibility is definitely in play because Kroneke has house money way above his alternatives so he can lie and basically disguise his intentions just because he can. The rest is just activity outside the realm of reality-his.

If they get this huge complex that Kroenke is planning? It will be a long while before that is an issue. Rams left for a stadium deal, makes sense that they would return for one as well.

Raiders only came to LA at the whim of Al Davis. Chargers just moved down the street.

I grew up watching the Rams in the Coliseum, then to Orange County and then to St Louis. I don't care where they play as long as it is the Rams and the horns are on display. That said, Georgia took them to St Louis for the stadium and money no doubt and it was her home town, it is always about money. Kroenke will or not move because of the same reason, money and stadium. Whether or not he wants to move the Rams or not is a question but the fact the Rams need a stadium is a fact. The Jones Dome has run it's course and in the NFL today, stadiums and Super Bowl locations are a fact of life for the billionaire (see Dallas and Jerry Jones). I am going to make my first visit to St Louis next season to watch the Rams and Steelers with a friend from Pittsburgh, so really the LA thing doesn't matter to me. Would I see the Rams more in LA than St Louis? Maybe but I can see games in Arizona, San Diego, Oakland, Denver or wherever if I want anyway. Outside of moving the team to London, I can make games with planning. My thought is that Kroneke wants St Louis to step up and if he builds a stadium in LA, any team can move in and he will make the money back. This off season is one that the Rams fans will watch very closely, QB issues, OC hires, Moving, it all brings us here for entertainment and information. Guys like ksu are closely tied to information, the rest of us are pure entertainment and some of are just old and want them to be successful before God pulls the plug.

I remember the LA Coliseum days(Carol Rosenbloom days)! I was 7 years old when I started this crazy additition to this team. At the time I lived in Danville Virginia. I have never even been to LA! I actually think that I am the only Ram fan on this side of the Mississippi! LOL....I wanted to sometime go to a St Louis game but never have. I now am 54 years old, live in Pennsylvania, it doesnt matter where they play I will always be a ram fan at heart. Well I guess there are 2 this side of the Mississippi! Me and BOSS! :pound:

I fully agree with the douchebaggery of that move. If he can afford to buy all of that land out there and build a stadium on it, why in the hell does he need public funding to build in St. Louis?!?!?! It's one thing if St. Louis wasn't trying to make an effort to keep the team and he does that but I think that St. Louis is definitely trying to make a strong effort to keep the Rams.

I am on your side of the Mississippi and further east! Just re-watched the 1979 NFC Championship game on my phone. What great O-Line and D-Lines. That defense was sick. What happier days.
