Also of note, one of (the many) douchebag Dodgers was non-tendered today, Russell Martin. SUCK IT RUSSELL MARTIN (though actually Velez in the pic)

I like this thread so much, I seemed to have killed it like Lenny petting a bunny in Of Mice and Men. Anybody else got a funny gif or EU story they'd like to share?

I can start: One time (sorry I can't recall the game), I saw Velez misplay a ball in left because his first step was in and not back, then throw a one-hopper to the cut-off man while slipping and falling over. Next!

I remember that game.

There was also the time he misplayed a ball in left because his first step was in and not back, then threw a one-hopper to the cut-off man while slipping and falling over.

That was hilarious.

others?

There was the famous April 19 game at Petco, WHICH I ATTENDED, wherein Uselez (wait for it....) misplayed a Kyle Banks single to left into a "triple," which later became an "earned" run on a sac fly by Venable. We lost that fucking game 3-2 on a 10th inning Eckstein HR. Matty Cain takes the sandpaper dildo again.

I lit my torch and grabbed my pitchfork the day Velez misplayed a liner, which should have been caught to end an inning, into a two run triple, and Timmy ended up a 2-1 loser instead of getting his eighteenth win. I really thought it cost him the cy (although I can't remember if it was the first one or second one).

Seeing as his record during his second CY season 15-7, I would guess that the game where Velez lost his try at 18 was not his second CY :)

You're assuming it hasn't been upped already. Tito's reaction to this would almost make it worth lurking around that board again... briefly... if at all... never mind. Love the stories, tzill and gp. Wasn't there a game or two that Velez actually won for the Giants? I recall an unprecedented home run and a triple off a wall, but I think both of those were well over a year ago now.

Anyone else slightly "irked" by all the new "fans" sporting their colors? "Suddenly" after never seeing Giants gear outside the ballpark it's impossible to go anywhere without see someone with Giants gear that looks brand new.
