No. It won't happen. He seems to setting up his post-NBA career to be involved in whatever businesses he has going. He established Kobe, Inc. He's a part owner of BodyArmor sports drinks. He bought an office building in Newport Beach. Business man and Lakers ambassador is what I see of Kobe's post-NBA life.

Not really. He's been doing some "coaching" of the younger players from the bench while injured these last few seasons, but I've never heard him indicate that coaching is something he wants to get full bore into.

Fact he's probably been doing some coaching while hurt and he's constantly doing GM work trying to get players to come play for the Lakers.

He's smart enough to coach. It'd be interesting to see if he'd have the patience to do it

I agree that he's definitely smart enough. Patience was the issue Magic had when he tried it. He just couldn't understand why his players could see what he saw on the floor. I think Kobe would be the same way only without Magic's smile and tact.

He doesnt seem like a coach. Probably a GM or owner in the future.

I agree.

If he decides he wants to remain involved in basketball after he retires, that's the most likely way and I'm sure the Lakers will find a position for him. Maybe Asst. GM to Mitch and then take over when Mitch retires? Maybe a little part ownership like Magic had?

I just don't think he has the patience to be a coach (although his death stares would make for some awesome meme's and gif's).

Nothing about Kobe Bryant says coach to me

Actually, from a basketball i.q. perspective, he would likely be a very good and perhaps even great coach. However, as has been pointed out, from a patience perspective, not so much.
