No surprise considering your thoughts in other threads.

Seattle has beat SF and Houston,

They have won 2 ten am games.

They are without Harvin, They are without their probowl LT and Center.

They are still 4-0.....

I could care less about power rankings.

All i know is Seattle is in the drivers seat for HFA (play no IN seattle)

Has Denver looked prettier? sure, but Seattle has better wins, and let's see how pretty denvers offense is come winter.....

Im sure that has to be a disappointment no Harvin(which you didnt have last year and Wilson looked better last year) or your LT who has been out a week or two.... But considering the name of the Thread was Has NO moved a head of Seattle we are kinda looking at first 4 weeks of the season stats and based on those I would put it Denver, NO, Seattle, NE then KC.

This is opinion, not fact. Is it better to barely win against a 2-2 team on the road, blow out a 1-3 team at home? Ask different people you'll get different answers.

And let's not pretend that Seattle is the only team in the NFL missing players. Denver has played without a starting cornerback, our starting center, and our starting tight end all season due to injury, we've been without Von Miller due to suspension, and we've lost our starting left tackle. Everybody deals with injuries, so bringing them up is rather pointless.

Interesting. Aside from the normal HFA, I don't know why that would be. Also, unless I'm way off on my geography, NO isn't exactly an East Coast Team.

NO is much closer to the East Coast than West, but if you really want to be technical about it, I guess it is Central?

I would assume that most would consider Denver a West Coast team too, despite their actual geographic location, so it goes both ways.

Here's an article about the time zone differences too http://www.businessinsider.com/nfl-circadian-sleep-advantage-dreamland-book-2012-8

Right now, I would put New Orleans #1 and Seattle #2. If Percy Harvin comes back healthy, that will likely switch. I don't think SF is in the picture right now and I would put Detroit in the #3 slot.

I would definitely put the saints above the hawks right now too...the hawks barely escaped the panthers with hardly a handful of points...and did nothing against the texans until the texans D went to pieces after cushing went out. I'm not at all buying the seahawks hype, looks like a lot of smoke and mirrors to me . The texans also seemed to pass at will before that..there was nothing impressive about the seahawks D through those 3 quarters. Those texans just cant seem to play 60 minutes

Hmm. Interesting piece. Also kind of interesting that Business Insider uses Deadspin as it's source, isn't it? Not sure what to make of that.

First off Peyton had over a 100 quarterback rating for the months of December and January this past year so I think he will be just fine come cold weather.

Second Seattle has better wins? It took a fumble by Carolina and an interception by Houston for Seattle to even be 4-0 right now. How is that better wins? I understand Seattle forces turnovers but you can't always count on those to win especially against the better teams. Also Seattle's opponents have a combined record of 5-10 while the Broncos have a combined record of 4-12. Not like they are really that different at this point.

LOL hypocrite much?

When told about Seahawks injuries that theyve OVERCOME: ---everyone has injuries, doesn't matter.

When talking about how Seattle won in Houston:---Only cause Cush got hurt did seattle come back.

Fair enough dude, you dont like the seahawks you dont think their good. Fine by me, but keep it consistent.

Again dont give them credit, fine by me doesn't really matter right now. But Seattle wins Because of their defense, their turnover ratio is awesome. I know its not sexy, but thats what they are. Defense, bloody your opponents nose football.... Just the type of football that wins,,,,especially come playoffs. Let the sexy offenses of NO and DEN have the power rankings. Seattle will get their shot head to head and thats all that really matters

Hard to say whether or not the texans defense played worse because Cushing was out or not...The fact of the matter is, the Texans obviously have trouble stringing 60 minutes together. The other fact is that in the first 3 quarters, the Texans were having their way with your team both offensively and defensively ( the hawks looked more like the Jaguars in the first 3 quarters) . Not until they slack off does your team gain the slightest ground on either of those sides. No, I dont think they are that good.

I understand they have a great defense and that is what has made them the team they are today. I just was refuting the fact that somebody had said they had "Better" wins than the Broncos because they had played tougher opponents and well if you count 1 more win among a bunch of pretty pathetic teams right now that both have played then I guess they were right but to me they have both played some bad teams and the Broncos up to this point have played better overall in all of their games compared to that of Seattle. Obviously 4 games does not make a season and in a few years nobody is going to remember that the Broncos blew out their opponents compared to that of Seattle and will just say they were both 4-0. Right now and really always power rankings mean jack squat so whether somebody ranks Denver, Seattle, or New Orleans #1 it really won't matter in the grand scheme of things and really to be considered one of the top 5 teams in the league should be respect enough these days to any team.

Not very likely the hawks will see Denver this year, so I doubt we will know the reality of what you're talking about.

cdumler, were in agreement. Unlike the other bronco fan who I will ignore. I look forward to talking football with you. IMO San Fran is still a superbowl contender and beating them like seattle did was really impressive imo. SF having a hangover the next week doesn't help my argument, but like you said only 4 games in.

Either way, cheers to you. im out.

Even after that monday night game, Seahawks have scored more points, and have given up less. And the Seahawks now have two road victories. The Saints have only played one away game so far and snuck away with a 16-14 win over the winless Bucs.

NO is good, no doubt. But I wouldn't put them as "close" to Seattle. Clearly #2 in my opinion

Awesome game by the Saints and Brees, his accuracy is amazing. He had several throws that had you saying WOW! And Sproles is a winner, he is the best midget RB by far, since his days with the Chargers the guy is money.

You are probably right, I don't think Denver will make it to the SB this year.

Playing the Jaguars have a lot to do with that.
