What? Literally all I was saying was that he shouldnt be benched at any point this year. Aren't I defending him there?
And IM saying, if he is the main reason we are 0-2, bench him.

In all fairness to the defense they did force FG's and got a HUGE turnover in the 4th QTR. I think the loss was on KC today. He should of had atleast 4TD passes today and the game shouldn't of been even close.
I disagree. The defense got carved up by a rookie 4th round draft pick QB and and a rookie RB. Both of these guys played in just their 2nd game and looked like Pro Bowlers. KC played terrible but the defense was awful.
If SM had a brain, he would draft DL, OL, DL, OL, DL, OL next year. For heaven sakes, we are terrible up front.
This makes it official. We are now in Bazaro World.I absolutely, positively cannot believe this thread and worse, most of the responses to it. If you were amongst those who were adamant about signing Kirk to a long term deal, don't be so quick to abandon your boy. From my perspective (and I really can't believe that I'm saying this) he still could turn things around. I have pledged to not offer any type of judgement of him before the season's end, but you guys were so sure, that you had convinced me to take this wait and see stance. KC is our starting QB now and until the powers that are say otherwise. You guys already know where I stand when it comes to evaluating him from a year ago when everything was going so well, but right now, I stand with KC!!

Dude... all I been seeing is.. Cousins is the PRIMARY reason we are 0-2, not the piss poor coaching. NOt the fact that the defense is giving up 32.5 points a game. Cousins... his fault and every one else is just the victim.
So fuck yes, bench him if he is that bad. Roll with Colt, and proceed to finish 3-13 any way. Then fire Gruden, McVey, Barry and start over. At 3-13 we likely secure the #1 pick. But our GM would likely take a WR any way.
by the way let me go on record and say i hate fade plays near the end zone , they rarely work , let dox or reed use their bodies and hit the on them slant or damn hand the ball to jones once
Of course Dallas knew it was coming. Hell, everyone knew it was coming as soon as Doctson stepped on the field. And just to make sure that everyone knew, we ran it 2 more times. I think Gruden thought this game was still preseason where the goal is to work shit out. Shades of the fake FG from Zorn a few years ago.Last week when Doctson became active I was going to post that it would be idiotic to throw him fades in the red zone because the other team would know it was coming. When they tried it I was pissed, it was obvious that Dallas knew it was the play. So of course they try it 2 more times. I'm with you. Going back to when they tried to force it with Malcolm Kelly and earlier this play rarely works.

The problem is its not just one person or one side of the ball. There is nothing we are doing well. So that has to start with the coaching. The play calling was piss poor at times, especially in the red zone. Of course, when you can't run the ball, it really limits your play calling. The QB play is below mediocre, but again, when they know you aren't going to run, it makes passing difficult. Still, KC missed a couple open deep passes.I'm so torn on who is more to blame, the coaches or players. The fades were horrible calls but the plays called should have resulted in 35+ points if our QB didn't suck so badly. RJF called out the coaches and players for failng to adjust in the Post and after watching Kerrigan get sucked in on that play fake, roll and throw to a wide open tight end over and over again it's hard to know where to place the blame. But it is not hard to see a pattern here that this coaching staff routinely loses the adjustment battle with the other sideline.
A Redskins player wants to know why his team doesn’t adjust
“If we actually would have adjust and seen what they were doing quick enough, we would have had it,” Francois said, via Ben Standig. “And I just feel like the teams that, even from the Packers from last year, every team that sees us adjusts. Every team that adjusts to us, we don’t adjust to them.”
Its not an overreaction to be calling KC out for his play. It is an overreaction to be calling for his benching or the firing of anyone just yet.Kirk should have had TD passes to Crowder, DJ and a wide open Doctson. Not sure how many points those drives ended up resulting in but it's safe to say they should have been 21 points. Then he throws a pick when you absolutely can not throw a pick, this after failing all game to get TDs in the red zone. Then of course he failed to move the team twice in the final minutes to get in position to score, the only play of note was a 5 yard pass and a big run by Thompson.
In a 4 point loss the obvious answer is Kirk Cousins is culprit #1. It's not an overreaction at all IMO. Again the single biggest factor moving forward regarding our success/failure is the play of one Kirk Cousins. Even if he lights it up next week what we have is a wildly inconsistent QB and you don't win with up and down QBs.
