The NBC Sunday Night crew just reported that team mates are complaining about KC being indecisive, bad accuracy being among the complaints (I was actually gonna start a thread or ask in a thread if anyone noticed how hot Garcon got after KC's end zone INT) Surely PG is one I gotta believe. And it was reported that Jon Gruden called Cuz out of sorts.

While I don't know if this will do any good, and it might serve to send the team straight back into dysfunctional as fuck mode, but regardless what one thinks the Skins need, a run game, a defense, etc. I don't think anyone can dismiss the fact that if KC had played marginally better, made a couple correct reads, threw the ball on time to Dotson and Djax, hadn't thorwn two asinine WTF picks one in each game. The Skins would've no doubt beat the Cowboys today and at the least, competed with Pitt deep into the game, maybe even won.

Actually hoping they bench him, let him take his $20 million and we can watch as we take the next great bust of a QB next year. Cousins missing throws is the easy out when the defense gives up 32 points a game.

I agree. IF KC has another bad outing against NYG. I could see the move to McCoy. This move I would understand. KC had so much time to throw today. He could of had 50 yards rushing if he wanted to.

well again its 2 games and pulling the plug on KC is way too early . what i am saying is he has had chances to make plays and he hasnt and he gave away points with a bone head throw

by the way let me go on record and say i hate fade plays near the end zone , they rarely work , let dox or reed use their bodies and hit the on them slant or damn hand the ball to jones once

If we lose against the Giants and Kirk Cousins still doesn't look very good I would go ahead and start Nate Sudfield the season is over anyways

If the Skins had lost to Pitt and Dallas 45-44 and 38-37 or something like that and Cuz just lit it up throughout both games, but missed a read or throw at the end of the game that could've won it. Harping on 2 or even 3 throws would be easy outing it imo. That isn't the case though.

Is the defense playing like shit? Yes, they are and I really don't expect that to change. The defense wasn't asking for a multi-year contract at 20 miil per. The defense is not making 19 mill this year. The defense didn't break almost every significant team passing record last year, with a whole lotta that work coming in the last half of the season playing lights out.

The defense is not auditioning for the Skins and who knows how many other NFL teams for the foreseeable future. KC is. The defense is already well known and proven to be little more than a stopgap temp solution. KC doesn't want to be that.

In all fairness to the defense they did force FG's and got a HUGE turnover in the 4th QTR. I think the loss was on KC today. He should of had atleast 4TD passes today and the game shouldn't of been even close.

Well if thats the general thought pattern, they need to bench him now. Cut the losses and when we finish 3-13 fire every one.

I wouldn't bench him now. I just put him on notice. Im pissed too about today but in our division anything can happen. I don't even think the Giants got an offensive TD today and still won.

Nah... we are 0-2 totally because of Cousins. He needs to be benched. Hell maybe even cut.

I don't disagree. And if Dallas' OL is really as good as some people say. They didn't do a completely terrible job run defense-wise and ame up with 4 sacks. I thought Prescott played well and Dez and Beasley had strong games, but the Skins Def didn't get Big Benned or Antonio Browned like they did last week. Amd the TOP was crazy lopsided in Dallas' favor. They had the ball for 32:51 to the Skins 27:05

I'm not sure if we'll see a better game from the Skins defense this year.

Yep. Doesn't really speak well of the Giant offense... but also says something about how the Giant defense has done a 180 since last season. Night and day difference.

Cousins will have his hands full next week.

Wow. 2 games and some are calling for a benching. First, I agree KCs play today was a significant contributing factor in the loss today. The INT was The death nail. He does look tentative and a bit indecisive, especially in the first half. But Colt McCoy is not the answer. We all know what colt can and can't do. He has a noodle arm and you can kiss any deep passes to djax if colt is behind center. We've also seen the upside on KC. The second half of last year showed us that.
He came out in the second half on fire. Moving the offense on a couple good drives. The red zone play calling was atrocious. How many fade pattern play are we going to try? When Doctson came in, everyone in the stadium knew what he was going to do. Clearly that play needs more practice. Shark is right, since we don't have a running game, our opponents need to only worry about the pass. We even telegraph it with 4 and 5 receivers lined up. When you are inside the 10 and send out 5 and they drop 7 into coverage, the short field just ain't big enough. It's very easy to cover everyone because the cramped space is full of bodies. What a great time for a QB draw.

Anyway, KC is our horse this year. He may be a lame ass horse, but he is all we seriously got. When he gets into rhythm, he gets sharp. But he loses his mechanics everytime the pocket collapses in the middle ( which, with licht and leveuo, that is too often). It's important that the play calling is designed for simple patterns early to give KC a chance to get into rhythm and build confidence.

Once again. Cuz is being paid 19 million dollars this season. They're not benching him after 3 weeks.

What happens though if the Skins finish 3-13 with Cousins playing every game? Because that's where the Skins look to be heading right now. And you can harp on every single issue the Skins have, the shitty defense, the crap running game and the coaching and you'd have valid points. They had the same exact issues last year and what does everyone attest to being the difference? Rightly or wrongly it was Cousins and his improved play over the latter half of the season mostly.

This is what I know. The Cousins I have seen thus far this year. I don't like that.

If they finish 3-13, KC becomes very inexpensive. You re sign him but also draft the best QB in the draft that is experienced in leading a pro style offense. Let him learn behind KC until he is ready.

Yeah! I heard, when Jay Gruden supposedly told Pam Oliver about KC. KC's not looking, too good. He's still overthrowing and underthrowing WRs. What's puzzling is this is the 2nd game with him having good protection by the OL. Then, forcing the ball in the endzone to Garcon for an INT. Yes! Pierre Garcon was irate, immediately, afterwards. Prior to, the playcalling was suspect. Why have KC go for two fades in a row? This is not good. KC has really gotta get it together. Winning at New York is tough. We cannot go 0-3.

Yes! Big time. Plus, he's playing in New York. Good grief! Possibly going 0-3 is a very scary thing. If this team wins 5-6 games for the season, heads are going to surely roll. KC will not be a Redskin after the season. Period.

Its the same Cousins we saw early last year. It takes him a few games or more to get into his rhythm and get his timing down. But if the only way we are going to win is if Kirk puts up 50 a game, time to cut bait and get into suck for Watson mode.
