Great Thread
We are less then a month before kickoff and now less then a month before the Oregon-Nebraska game and I don't seen many threads being created on your own board about the upcoming season or the big time non conference game the Cornhuskers have with the Oregon Ducks.
Makes me think the enthusiasm for Nebraska football must be declining with each passing year it gets further from the 1990's.
Was really looking forward to some good banter with the so called "Greatest Fans in College Football" and seeing the great "sea of red" invade Autzen Stadium. Seems this is all just something I will continue to read in the history books of college football.
Keep your chins up Cornhusker fans. That run you guys had 20 something years ago was incredible and current recruits most certainly will enjoy googling that or Wikipedia searching that decade, since of course they weren't around to witness it.
College football is a great tradition and great thing to experience. Don't let mediocracy ruin your fandom.
Even given all of our problems last year, a completely new coaching staff we are still ranked higher then Nebraska and still favored in this game!
LOL!!
Wait...Autzen capacity is only 54K? There's gonna be 20-25K Husker fans there...
Just saw some line has Oregon winning this game.
who doesn't?
Early lines for 77 of 2017’s biggest games
Bet the Farm!!
BTW, I do enjoy the OD troll on the forum. Adds some spice.
Last year Oregon came into Lincoln 2-0, then Oregon went 2-8 the rest of the season.

Is pass pro really a big concern for you? Like you said, nobody really knows, but it seems to me that knowing where the QB is going to be would be a major help. I would guess it would be difficult to block when you have to check over your shoulder to see where your QB is. Also having a QB that can read a defense and adjust protection accordingly should be helpful too. The OL is a question mark, but pass pro isn't that high on my list of concerns. That line is a complete guess at this point. We were last in the Big 10 last year in QB hurries allowed. Some of that was on Tommy for standing too long in the pocket, but a bigger portion of it was us getting beat up front.
Tommy got us out of almost every single one of those hurries with his athleticism.
We are banking on the fact that Tanner Lee will be quicker at getting rid of the ball and that our line has more experience and we won't have to worry about the pocket collapsing. Will that happen? Nobody knows as of right now. Our offense is going to be completely different this season......Vegas doesn't know what we're capable or incapable of. That line is garbage for all anyone knows.
