Dang. 4-8 weeks is a loooonnng time.

Especially this year. Eight weeks is over half the season.

I was so close to picking him up in FHL. WHEW!

We seem to have bad luck with broken feet and toes. Let's hope he comes back sooner than expected.

I hope Mez isn't hurt too bad because the third D pairing looks really suspect without him.

I was so close to picking him up in FHL. WHEW!

I absolutely would have but for two things:

1. I'm convinced that while he's no slouch, he wouldn't have repeated last year's numbers this year. Voracek is fine and all but he's no Jagr, who drew defenses to him just by existing.

2. I was at a bad spot in the draft order to grab him at what I felt to be a reasonable position.

Number two is honestly a bigger consideration than one; I'm enough of a homer to have pulled the trigger if I had a shot.

Hahaha, and that was probably his Rocket Richard year. Giroux went third in ours. I had first pick, showed up late, and Malkin was chosen for me. I mean, that worked out...haha.
