I think charging a pitcher and throwing your helmet at him (even if it was a terrible throw) and landing a punch and attempting several more is plenty deserving of a suspension no matter why the pitcher threw at him. And Harper got less than most batters get for that situation.Understood. However - the message appears to be that Harpers actions were on par or even worse than those of Strickland which is an outright joke. MLB is basically condoning pitchers deliberately throwing hard at batters for the stupidest of reasons.
