If he had been traded to the Grizzlies instead of the Cavs, you would not be posting this.

In 3 years Harden will still probably be the best player in the deal and LeVert and Dipo will still be better than Allen.

It is pretty bad though.

Considering how terrible his Ls are how desperate he is to try get some kind of credit.

And besides…

If we are just talking about basketball for 1 year? And not factoring in off court drama or anything else?

Jarrett Allen is a role player. He is an elite role player, but he is a role player.

It is not a major reach to argue that Harden is still a better basketball player.
