The labrum is not torn!!!!!

The labrum damage looked to be just a bit of inflammation of the capsule. I have tearing in my biceps tendon and some osteolysis of my clavicular head. The Doc says this is common in guys who lift weights a lot. I got a cortisone shot, which he said usually clears up the inflammation in both long enough to let the bone heal and alleviate the problem totally. If not, he said he can detach the tendon and reroute it under the clavicle, and the surgery would be much much less debilitating than labrum surgery.

You have no idea how relieved this made me today. I was literally giddy in the doctor's office. I was dreading, DREADING, that painful and debilitating of a surgery (labrum repair).
