Titans QB Jake Locker taken to hospital with hip injury

Are they saying that's what it is? That was my very first guess. It looked like his knee blew but he grabbed his hip so it must have taken the stress and popped out.

I have no idea, I just meant that doesn't sound good if that what it is since it was speculated.

I just talked to my brother in a (very noisy) bar on 2nd Ave. in Nashville and he said the local news is reporting that there was no dislocation.

He broke his fucking leg. I just know it. :bawling:

Probably a season ender. Hip injuries are pretty serious and if it's a broken femur forget it. Those take months to heal and you're laid up for a while. Leon Washington had one early and he was done for the season. Good thing is femur comes back stronger... it's not an ACL or something that just gets weaker.

They looked pretty good with Fitzpatrick leading the helm though. IMO Fitzpatrick can still lead them to the playoffs.

What's the recovery time on that kinda injury?

I'm assuming he's out for the season if that's what it is. I don't know much about dislocations but if he tore his labrum which I'm assuming he did he might not play again.

CJ Mosley dislocated his hip against LSU in the National Championship and was back again for the start of next season. It's really hard to say, but my guess is it just depends if there's any nerve damage and/or a labral tear.

If he has a bad labral tear he's probably going to miss > 5.5-6 months.

Well that's even more interesting. Hopefully he's back by next season.

You could trade for Bradford. The Rams might throw in Fisher as a bonus.

Nah!!!

Not bad at all. From what I've seen, I have confidence in Ryan Fitzpatrick and our defense to weather this.

OK...

The Titans need to call up the Patriots and trade for Ryan Mallet! That would be salt in the wound!

Nobody has mentioned Tebow yet??:laugh3:

Discussing Leinart too? This guy is such a fucking bum that I have no idea why any team would even look up his number!
