Sad to say that Felix exceeded my expectations... Honestly grateful for his start tonight... He kept it competitive... That's all I can ask...

Yea last night i think is basically what you hope to get out of him. No walks and seems to have decent command of his fastball which he didnt have last year at all.

Who did they contract to lay down the new grass surface this offseason? I noticed since the Red Sox series that the areas behind home plate up to 1st/3rd base is all chewed up.

That’s ugly

Went to opening day and on Sunday and noticed the same thing all over the outfield and along the lines. Maybe with the rebuild they forgot that there was still other things to deal with to get ready for the season....

King 5 did a special on it, with Uncle Bob.
Talked about the same turf place did a Kentucky Blue grass this year and how they had to bring in grow lights in February when they laid it. They even kept ground temps.....

After last night’s game, I noticed Haniger’s spot is all chewed up now too. 5 games into the homestand.

It’s gonna be a sight for sore eyes this season with this new grass.

If they keep winning I don't care if it looks like there's dog piss patches all over the field.

I'm laughing about the dog piss patches cuz I spent much of the weekend re-seeding our female lab's little brown circles in our backyard.:pound:

It was nice to see him stick to his game plan by using his curve ball and slider to set up his fastball instead of opposite, which he use to do in his prime... With him hitting his spots w/ the curve/slider last night, he was able to be more efficient... The errors in the field doesn't help... We have 13 errors in 7 games... Most of them by 3B and Catcher... And we're 6-1... Go figure!

WOOOO nice one Dee. Vogelbach... hopefully this kicks off this guys career, been somewhat of a disappointment so far. And Marco, has improved every year for the last 3 years. Sexy start to the season, 7-1.

Now... PLEASE... PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE clean up (at least take one) against the terrible White Sox.

This should be go time for Vogelbach. Remember that Encarnacion was a late scratch tonight (i read hand soreness) so he stepped up when the opportunity is there. Who knows how long Encarnacion is going to be out, so Vogelbach will have his opportunity.

If I were to tell you they would be leading the MLB in HR, RS, RBI, and stolen bases after 8 games you’d punch me in the face after telling me I’m crazy.

LOL, I know... I kinda knew they'd be good at stolen bases, that's about it, everything else was a total question mark... But hey, maybe they found some chemistry with this group of guy's, hope they can keep it rolling....
