Series Thread: Halos vs M's 4/1 - 4/2

Team has definitely exceeded most ours, if not all of our expectations thru 6 games... Offense it's off to a hot start, while the pitching is trending the opposite direction... Fun watching these guys hit being that the average age of the players is 26 years old...

Pitching is an issue, which we all pretty much expected this year... If you would've said that our starter (Leblanc) was going to give up 6 runs in 5 innings, while our entire pitching staff walked 8 batters and we were going to win? I'd think you're on crack... Crazy how these guys are smashing the ball all up and won the order, while jumping out on teams starters very early in the game... Seems like when you blink, they've put up 2 more runs...

Be interesting to see how Felix pitches today with basically getting demoted from #1 to the #5 SP and with a potential demotion to the bullpen if he doesn't pitch well... Trout has Felix's number so we'll see how that goes... My guess would be that Felix gives up 5-7 runs thru 3 innings...

Hey!!! Early lead. I still don't get why the Brewers gave up Santana for Gamel. Gamel isn't bad by any means and Santana is from the DR so he could be 45, but I just think Santana has a much higher ceiling.

Man we're gonna need some more runs in this one. Felix is such a former shell of himself. Sad that we didn't trade him when we could've got a massive haul... our team would be electric right now with our acquisitions panning out (so far) and the haul of prospects we could've gotten.

Healy was a 3b with the A's, but is clearly a subpar 3B. He needs to be at 1B once EE and Bruce are gone.
Vogey, not an option.
Hopefully White will be ready in 2 years.

Who plays 3rd? Back to Seager? Shed? Beckham?

Yes, Clearly DEFENSE is an issue this season.

With 4 more tonight through 6 games and 6 2/3 innings, up to 13 errors for the season.

Dipoto has pretty much sacrificed pitching and defense for offense.

To be fair, it would have been Jack-Z who would have been in charge of getting that massive haul.

Because of that I'm glad we kept him rather than getting a haul of Jesus Monteros for the King.
