Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy bacon
Bruins toast him for three goals in the 1st period at Le Centre Bell. Prove those fans wrong, Carey...
This is why I felt bad for Price when Halak was traded. I figured this was inevitable. Probably would have been the same thing eventually for Halak had Price been the one traded, but might have taken a little longer. I know its not everybody but I really don't like the local Habs fans much. When will they realize that constantly booing their own players isn't going to help anything? Who's going to want to play in that kind of environment? And how can they expect those being booed to regain their confidence? I had the pleasure of meeting Guy LaFleur a few years ago and he told me this is one of the reasons he rarely attends Habs games at the Bell Centre. He said he doesn't care for the new generation of Habs fans at all and that they were much better when he played there.
Yeah because Guy is so supportive of the current Habs players.
Habs players said after the game that they are tired of the their own fans booing and are getting frustrated by it. Now personally I thought Montreal was insane for letting go of Halak and I've always thought Price while a decent goalie was never as good as him. If the poor guy were to play in any other city he would be much better. Habs fans you need to let up on him. He might act all cool and calm, but one day he's gonna snap and give the ol fork in the eye to someone.

Habs fans boo their players, and the players that dont sign with them...basically comes to a full circle.
