Caps looked downright lazy tonight. I still don't understand what's going on on the power play and why the 2nd line is doing almost nothing. Not enough pumping of the legs.

Would have been nice to not have to travel again and get some extra days off. Now they just made it a series again.

Congrats to the Habs and their fans..It was easy to see the team that was facing elimination.

I'm not sure what is going on right now with the Caps, but we've yet to see a 60 minute game from them in the playoffs.

Things just weren't clicking tonight. Caps passes weren't crisp, didn't move their feet enough, didn't have enough effort, had bad decision making, and played down right lazy. The fact that in the last 5 minutes of a game, you don't move and let the Habs take the puck and hold on to it for a minute when you are down by one, shows that you're not even trying anymore. They just flat out stopped skating. The Caps really didnt have a chance where they SHOULD have scored. They had chances where they COULD have scored, but they weren't very good chances, atleast from my vantage point. This one frustrated me because of the lack of effort. Had they lost 2-1 but had oppertunities where they should have scored, the loss would have set better with me.

Totally agree. They need to come out on Sunday with a big effort and end this crap. Halak stopped a lot of harmless, crap shots tonight. And when we had the moments in the slot, guys put it wide of the net or didn't get any lift. Really annoying.

Just got home from the game. Real lackluster effort from the Caps tonight. They had few quality opportunities, got beat to practically every loose puck and had very little net presence. Very disappointing.

The power play really needs to get going. It does seem like Alex Semin is getting closer and closer. Mike Green . . . well I am not going to pile on him. Suffice it to say he didn't have a good game. I'm frustrated. I think they will go up to Montreal and win, that said this series should have been over tonight. This is a team that the Caps should beat, they had everything going for them and they laid an egg tonight.

Now, the positive. John Carlson continues to impress. He seemed to be on his game and played well with the puck. Ovie was Ovie. Biggest positive? Thousands of people singing O' Canada in Verizon Center. Pretty surreal.
