I do not want Tim Thomas at 39 when his contract ends. And I dont want to give up Carter or another forward to add to Boston

They would prob trade for him. He has two years left on his contract. I would love to have him come here and tear it up and mentor Bob. It would all depend on who we would have to give up though.

If nothing major happens this is about what I see the team looking like with the cap being set at 63 million which is now being rumored. Emerey would be interchangeable with any other decent goalie out there, and I picked holmstrom cause I liked the kid. Without a major I doubt we'll see a huge change

i think that group could contend, but i do not think they would be a favorite.. i think with the right moves they could be a favorite

i'll be honest though, i think the flyers are in big trouble cap-wise in the next couple years.. that pronger contract scares the crap out of me, it scared me before he started getting old man injuries (back)

His numbers are an upgrade for sure, but what would we be able to do? Homer has said he doesnt want to break up the core, and I dont think Halak would be worth a Carter in the first place.

Other then that I doubt it would happen, Carter's value is much higher then Halak's league wide.
