actually none of us even started on gun control on this. we are just sad for the victims. but I think jumping onto this bandwagon so early to promote that guns save lives is a bit premature in this thread. people died. I think its fucking sad. fuck guns fuck it all.

As well they should be!! A mentally unstable person used a gun to quickly kill 6 innocent people.

The media would be very much not doing their job were they to not report this. Gun control lovers, as you refer to them, would be remiss were they not to comment on what is a tragic event involving gun violence. In fact every American should be looking at incidents like this one and considering how the system can be changed to eliminate, or at least minimize, the occurrence of these kinds of things.

The article, in the context you put forth, was meant to be against gun control.

What about multiple offense drunk drivers? What do "we" do about it? Suspend the license for life? Sure what good does it do?

The drunks still get behind the wheel hammered and kill people. What happens when they do kill someone? The get charged with Vehicular homicide which carry's a 20 year max term in prison. Yet on every TV station and on every sporting event the alcohol ads show us all how cool it is to drink. They show the super hot women and men with a Bud Light and laughing as they head home to bang all night long.

What are the statistics of drunk driving deaths versus gun related deaths per year?

What should we do about that?

Where is the national outrage about banning alcohol from all aspects of life?

What about tobacco? why is it not banned? It certainly kills more people per year then both alcohol and guns.

The list goes on and on but as previously stated the media has a hard on for gun related incidents.
