Hell of a win tonight. Fleury stole the show having a solid first and a great finish. The two saves at the end were game changers.

Nice to see Malkin get one as well.

He did manage to get one against Boston late in the reg season though.

ah, I was mistaken. I remeber about 2/3 of the way through the season there was a thread about it back at the swamp...

Fantastic game. I knew it would be memorable, but i wasn't thinking it would be a Fleury shut-out. The play was pretty even through about midway through the second, and then the Pens seemed to get to their offensive zone puck possession that they are so good at.

The entire crew of defensemen for Pittsburgh all had a solid night. And, of course Fleury made big saves at big moments.

Montreal has a fantastic defensive shut-down for five on five hockey. They are going to have to get more of an offensive attack if they want to get back into it.

The Habs started too well. lol, they had a couple of really good 1st periods against the Caps and the Capitals won those games. When the Habs barely survive the 1st, they have fared better in those games.

Who would of thought that the Habs would be putting up such a fight this series.

I am pretty pleased with them, I thought they might have a total of 5 playoff games. So far its doubled and they have played well. They are not great and need to get better, but they keep trying and dont give up.

you have a team to be immensely proud of, that's for sure. they're playing some dang inspired hockey. it shows that occasionally heart and hustle can beat pure talent.
