I think it's pretty telling in what the NDSU linebacker said about his review of the nebraska game film:

“Watching that film, it wasn’t like they didn’t have the opportunity to make plays,” Olson said of the Nebraska-SDSU game. “They had silly mental mistakes, and it looked like they weren’t playing that hard to be honest. I thought South Dakota State was the more physical team. So I thought for us to stop them, we had to be the more physical team and I think we did that.”

Not so sure given the Wyoming score this weekend paired with the dakotas game that we're even going to make a bowl game this year.....

Maybe the Nebraska players can get other teams to review the Nebraska films and then have their coaches explain to them what they should be doing.

It was obvious to a NDSU player, since NDSU shut down SDSU. It is probably obvious to a Texas State player, since Texas State shut down Wyoming.

Fire Papuchis now, bring in someone to stand up to Bo Pelini. Did you hear that Bob Stoops changed his defense this year because Oklahoma struggled to stop the run? Maybe Bo should think about doing that.

I would imagine we will see a different defense against Illinois. Bo has to see that he wont have much of a chance if he makes no changes during the by week. I suspect he will go to the one gap assignment, he was running the two gap too this point and it has been obvious, and I hope he starts to blitz more to put some pressure on opposing qbs.

Our defense isnt that far from being respectable except for the fact that we give way too much time to opposing offenses for three quarters of the game. Defensive pressure wins games.
